About iBit
iBit was founded by Gareth and a currently silent partner in late 2004, operating then as Renegade Systems.
Renegade was solely a supplier of computer hardware and software, but also provided support. In early 2007 after a successful but moderate start, Mark joined the company after conducting a feasibility study on providing Internet access, and suggested we start doing so. Before adding this new service, we decided to make a few changes, one being the name of the company. From March 2007 we have been trading as iBit Computers (or iBit for short).
